Stuck by Oliver Jeffers

That's a gift that has been thrown into the tree

Aidan's current favorite bed time story is Stuck by Oliver Jeffers. It's a bout a boy who keeps throwing things into a tree to knock down his kite. A few days after the Christmas tree went up I caught him throwing a toy car into the tree. After that it was Emma's hair clips, Puppy, some pens and other assorted small items. This book is not a good influence.

Best gift EVER!

We had wanted to get more wooden tracks for Aidan's Thomas the Train set, but we couldn't find them this year.  I stumbled across a water play set, Patrick agreed it was brilliant, and Aidan ended up loving it!  he spent about 2 hours with it outside before he moved on to playing with his Iron Man figures Patrick picked up in the States.

You know what he liked almost as much as the boat set?  Any of Emma's gifts.
